On February 8, 2022, the public organization “Safe Kharkiv” organized and conducted training for juvenile police officers on the topic “Internet safety for school students”. The training is designed for juvenile police officers and school police officers who communicate with school students about cybersecurity.

The event is a part of Internet Safety Day, celebrated in Ukraine on the second Tuesday of February.

The training is divided into two age groups: elementary and secondary schools. It helps students to receive the most relevant and valuable information.

Representatives of Kharkiv IT community:

  • analyzed the most common scams that occur with children online;
  • what danger can await them;
  • brought out the prominent cases;
  • developed a memo that should prevent such situations.

Experienced psychologists carry out training for police officers. They told how to convey information to selected ages properly.

Among the organizers of the training were:

  • Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the NPU, Vasily Bogdan.
  • Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anna Mishchenko.
  • Co-founder of “Safe Kharkiv” and founder of Telesens, Eduard Rubin.
